Magical creatures/folk/beings: are any and all beings that are not visible to the average human due to the barrier between magic and non magic.
Magical Barrier The unseen wall between the magical and non magical. Prevents interactions between the two.
Verge of Fracture: A weakpoint in the Magical Barrier, where it's possible to break through, letting magical beings interact with humans under far less limits. A hugely important task of Hunters is to defend and repair weak points like these.
Some of these areas may leak magical energy as they weaken, drawing all sorts of creatures to soak up the energy.
Hunters: Humans who specialize in taking down magical creatures.
Hunter Society: Several exist around the world to serve as a sort of home base to hunters. Provides a safe place to rest and relax, weapons, information, and other basic necessities. Also sets up partnerships and takes in magical creatures looking to contract or otherwise assist.
Contracts: A pact of sorts between two lifeforms, most often between a human and a magical creature. Has benefits and downsides based on type.
Contractors: Humans who have formed some sort of contract to a magical being. Due to the pacts they form they gain several benefits such as higher power, magic, and the ability to see all other magical creatures. There are several downsides depending on the form of contract however.
