Branches: Within the Hunter Society there exist branches of work based on completing certain tasks. Each member is given a position in a branch based on their skills and strong points.
Hunters: The largest group, who actively track down and stop or eliminate threats.
Newer hunters are paired up with others, while more experienced hunters have a option of who to group with or decide to go solo. All Hunters are given freedom to choose hunts as they please, and may also be assigned hunts according to their rank.
Rank in this branch mainly refers to skill level.
Scouts: Second largest group, always paired with a skilled Hunter.
Though low ranking new Hunters are often sent out on scout missions there are members of the Hunters Society who specialize in this branch. Often skilled with a high intuition, these Hunters not only watch for suspicious activity but also communicate with unaffiliated magical creatures.
Barrier Repair: Sent out paired with hunters and sometimes a scout, Hunters in this branch focus on fixing any damage to the barrier and are often contracted with highly adept magical beings.
those smart armin people
they do stuff too
make some plans and shit
-areas
--main area
--entrance
--sleepy places
--etc
Laws: There are laws against killing certain species and in general going out of your way to hunt something that is of a neutral or lawful standing. This isn't highly policed though, and Hunters who choose not to follow these rules are rather common.
ie. unicorns, unless gone rouge are on the don't kill list, but there are hutners who just dont give no shits yo
It goes without saying that killing a hunter is a very high offense.
same with killing people and breaking the barrier and shit like just don't do that, it's bad.
magical shit is welcomed in to help as contract partners and other stuff like jut work on their own
maybe high inteligence creatures can be hutners on their own we jsut dont know
